The Yurchenko double pike is named after Soviet gymnast Natalia Yurchenko, who introduced it in 1982. The move features a roundoff onto the springboard and a back handspring onto the horse or vaulting table. While the landing wasn't perfect, Biles added two extra hops to complete the move.
